Striking triple gemstone design stud earrings which are simply beautiful. Featuring faceted Grey Moonstone (Oval) faceted Rainbow Moonstone (square), and rough cut Desert Druzy (irregular) semi precious stones finished to bring out the natural beauty and tone of the stone. Gemstone colour and opaqueness will vary due to the unique nature of semi precious stone variation as each cut stone is individual. Set in Rhodium Plated on Jewellers Brass finished in a high shine finish. (Rhodium is part of the Platinum family of metals for a more durable scratch resistant finish). Grey Moonstone

This gemstone is a variety of feldspar mineral that displays a pearly opalescent effect in a range of subtle grey tones. Mainly originiating in India, Mexico, Austalia and parts of Europe ithas been used in jewellery for millenia, but particularly by the Romans who valued its appearance which they believed to be solidified rays of the moon. Grey moonstone has been known to have a scared energy as it was thought to be a 'message form the heavens". It is linked with love and positive energy.

Rainbow Moonstone

This stunning gemstone is a form of transparent Labradorite (a closely related feldsapr mineral). This is why is has similar flashes of light within the stone. Generally a pale off white it reflects indigo and violet when moved in the light. It is extracted most usually from deposits in India, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Used by ancient civilsations this gemstone has a long history and has long been linked with the properties of protection, love and an allignment with nature. It was believed by ancient Romans that the gemstone was formed of moonlight and in India was reverred as sacred. In modern times it was made even more popular in the Art Nouveau period by French master goldsmith Rene Lalique.

Desert Druzy

The Druzy quartz grows very slowly over millions of years which gives it the layered effect of colours and tone. Desert Druzy is usually grey with warm rust coloured tones as well as pale milky white streaks. No two stones are ever alike making each piece of jewellery unique. They are mostly discovered in India, Brazil and Thailand. Associated with boosting imagination and inducing relaxation.
